Two Quick Notes...

...before a BIG BIG UPDATE when I get home!

1. I'm very saddened to hear that most, if not all, of our favorite top down motoring roads have burned in the tragic Station Fire. Even sadder is that brave firefighters have lost their lives in the effort. Please be safe, firefighters. Thank you for all you do.

2. Yellowstone/Jellystone was created for top down motoring. Or were convertibles created because of Yellowstone? Probably.

Little Tujunga Canyon Road

Today, Johnny Ringo's inaugural drive on Little Tujunga Canyon Road went very well indeed. I was accompanied by four other friends plus a friend's wife.

Our entourage today included two S2000s, one Subaru WRX STi, one M3, and Johnny Ringo (my MX-5, in case that wasn't obvious).

Today's soundtrack was provided by The Horrors first album, Strange House. If their brand of dark gothic punk, Misfits-meets-Bauhaus raw rock and roll doesn't make you want to tear up the twisties, I'm not sure what will.

Post-motoring drinks were provided by Lucky Baldwin's, which is right in the midst of their Belgian Beer Festival. Awesome.

And now, here are some pictures...
